RBC SWIMMERS EDGE RIVAL RFH IN ALL AROUND TEAM EFFORT

The RBC girls swim team earned their first win of the season against rival Rumson Fair-Haven, 89-81 in an all around team effort. The Caseys prevailed in a number of very close races. The key event for RBC was the 100 Butterfly where Samantha Josselyn, Ainsley Stamberger and Gabby DeVirgilio finished first, second, third respectively. Josselyn also finished first in the 200 Individual Medley and DeVirgilio won the 100 Backstroke. Sophomore Haley Stamberger contributed as well by winning both of her events, the 50 and 100 Freestyle. The most exciting race of the night, however, was the final event. Freshman Simone Truslowe came from behind in the anchor leg of the relay to help her team place 3rd. Next up for the Caseys will be Shore Regional on December 13th.
